Berkeley Institute for Data Science

Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS) is a research hub at UC Berkeley that facilitates cross-disciplinary data science research, open source software development, and training programs. It supports faculty and students across life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences, computer science, statistics, and applied mathematics in data-intensive research projects. Since 2013, BIDS has promoted collaboration across diverse academic disciplines and contributes to open science communities.
