Laboratoire Parole et Langage is a joint research unit of CNRS and Aix-Marseille University founded in 1972, studying speech and language production, perception, and understanding through interdisciplinary methods. Its team of phoneticians, linguists, computer scientists, psychologists, neuroscientists, and medical practitioners conducts research in experimental linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, and language disorders. The laboratory hosts the Centre for Speech Experimentation platform and maintains partnerships with university teaching units and medical institutions.
