The Autorité de sûreté nucléaire et de radioprotection (ASNR) is an independent French government agency created in 2025 through the merger of IRSN and ASN. It regulates and oversees civil nuclear activities and radiation protection in France on behalf of the state. The organization also conducts research, provides expertise, delivers training, and informs the public on nuclear safety and radiation protection matters.
